I have an engineering degree, then went into product management, product marketing. My job is fine, it's fun, business is growing. But, the thought of working on my own projects is too invigorating to pass up.</p><p></p><p>I jot down business ideas in my phone all the time, but after 10+ years as an employee, I haven't really committed to actually working on something.</p><p></p><p>I'm also looking for a community of folks who are like-minded. In the employee world, most people are average, and look at you weird if you aren't heading to happy hour at 5pm.</p><p></p><p><strong>Any recommendations from folks on how to get started?
