I found out about this after he mistakenly admitted to shipping my package I need for work through sea freight instead of the agreed upon air freight which I paid for. The cost difference between these 2 shipping options for my order are quite significant I found. When I try to confront him about this, he gives me a run around from how its not his fault to yes he did it to "save" me money. I have evidence from my order details showing that I indeed paid for air freight, to messages of him "admitting" to shipping my package through air and then suddenly saying he has used sea freight. The reason am not turning to Alibaba for help is that my package has not arrived and he has threatened to have it ship back to him which I cant have since I've waited a long time for it and I need the item for work or i'll be extremely behind.</p><p></p><p>The tracking number for this order hasn't even updated since I was provided it a month ago yet the seller has apparently contacted UPS and has knowledge of its location. I have contacted UPS too however they tell me they have no information about my order. The seller provided me with a screenshot of the tracking info he has and provided me with the sea tracking number though again, its not updated. The UPS agent I talk also told me that "UPS tracking trumps any supplier tracking" and that all packages are scanned once they receive it. What the seller provided me is really suspicious as the tracking he apparently has is not done through UPS.</p><p></p><p>I wondering if there is anything I can do that does not involve Alibaba for the moment to make clear to the seller to refund part of the shipping cost/provide me with accurate shipping info through UPS.
